Reward yourself after 30 days

Ever since I started working on June 08, I had trained myself how to manage my income every month. I brainstorm what items I need to spend daily or monthly. So I have arranged that sum of money I need to spend this and that. For example, $100 for lunch, $56 for Yoga lesson, $100 for groceries and another sum of money for my mama massage treatment. This is to avoid that any overspending habit occurs. Lack of pocket money end of the month.

Although I knew that I can spend this much on these particular item in the month, I will try to spend it wisely like only $80 for lunch so that I still can save up sum of money to spend the day before my paycheck. Some people may have a high spending at the end of month because that's when they receive paycheck. Keep on spending the things that they desire for so long once the money is on the hand. Lastly, they need to spend lesser when they found out that not much money in the bank account. Bit by bit to save till the day before receiving a new paycheck.

I do it in another way round. Other than spending a big money after getting the paycheck, I will spend on my necessity first like foods, drinks, chocolate, easicard and others. Wait till the day before my paycheck, I calculate how much I had saved over the month so I can start to think what things I can buy to reward myself after working hard for 30 days. In fact, I only spend on what I had saved before, not on my new paycheck.

I found these method very useful to me. I am quite happy the day before my paycheck. It's time to make myself happy and feeling great. These 3 photos on the left are my rewards for last 2 months.
